Jamahkiri has received praise from the Worlwide Fund For Nature as a recognized sanctuary for mis-treated monkeys.

Rescuing these beautiful creatures from various markets and other places around Thailand, owner Lucas has created a new home for over 20 monkeys.

In their new habitat they are nursed back to health and can learn once again to trust human contact!

Regularly monitored by Koh Tao's resident vet, the monkeys are taken as far as possible in their rehabilitation before being referred to larger oranizations.

Each monkey has it's own character and often you can sit beside one in our bar area and these playful creatures can give you an excellent photo opportunity.
